Photoshop CS4 installation error occurred

Hi Friends,

When I am trying to install the Photoshop CS4 I am getting this error message ‘System Requirements error’. And it allows me only to quit from installation. The operating system is Windows 8 64 bit and I have 500GB hard disk; there is lots of empty space. But why I am getting this error message? Please help.

System Requirements Error

This Software cannot be installed because the file system of the OS volume is not supported. The OS volume should be local , writable and should have non case-sensitive file system.

Photoshop CS4 installation error occurred

First, since you have a 64 bit system, check your installer if you downloaded the 64 bit installer version. If Instead the 64 bit, you downloaded the 32 bit (or X86).

1. To fix it, try to download a 64 bit version of the installer. Then run the installer.

If you have downloaded the 64 bit version at the first place, check the system requirements of the Software. Check if your machine have the same spec or higher than the minimum requirements. If not, for example, a lower version of service pack, you could try and fix this as you see fit.
