I am sick of using Frostwire from my computer. As I was trying to remove Frostwire from my system an error appeared in the middle of the uninstallation process.

What do I need to do with this in order to remove the software?

The operation cannot be completed because the item “javaApplicationStub” is in use.

Try to close speakable items application in the preferences and check it, now it should start working, If it is still not started then log out and log in again. If still the issue is not resolved then restart the machine, this will definitely work.

Another "trick" is to open Terminal and type

Ps aux

And look for the application that is hanging.

Then take the number in the PID column for that application and type

Shadow kills xxxx <= where xxxx is the number you got from the PID column.

Then if asked, enter your Admin password and that should kill the process.
