Nokia Connector Device To PC Not Functioning

My connector device for my Nokia 7610 Supernova version to access my computer is not working. I already checked my cellphone for any malfunctions and the repair center said nothing is wrong with my cellphone's port. I also tried other connector devices however it is still not working. What shall I do with this?

Hello Sashimei.

You didn't provide any other details so I am assuming that you are using a Windows PC running Windows 7.  Since you said you already verified that the phone port is functioning and that using other connectors (data cables) do not work either, I can only conclude that the problem is with the Nokia Suite and the device driver that you have installed on your PC.  Since it is a rather old model, it is possible that the Nokia software that came with it supports only up to Windows XP.  Look for the latest Nokia PC Suite (latest is 7.1 according to my searches) that runs under Windows 7 and you should have it working in no time.  You can use either data cable or bluetooth.
