If you encountered some problems after merging your pictures using your picture file merger application, check again if there are pictures that have duplicate names in other folders. I think there are duplicate files in different folders; that’s why the application weren’t able to merge some of the files.

You may also try using a different picture-merging program like the Picture Merge Genius 2.8. This version works with Windows Server 2008, Windows 2003, Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. It has a free 5-day trial period and costs $29.95 to buy. To try this one out, you may visit Picture Merge Genius.

If you try to merge your pictures but not all of the pictures were moved to the merge folder, check the supported features of the application particularly the number of maximum files that can be merged.

One possible reason why some pictures were not moved to the merge folder is that the number of files you selected is more than the supported number of files that can be merged at a time. If this happens, even if you selected all of your files, the application will only merge the maximum number of files supported.

After the merge, only the files that get merged will be transferred to the merge folder and the files exceeded the limit will be left unprocessed in the original folder. Since there were files that were not processed and left in the original folder, just try merging them as the second batch. They should be merged successfully.

You can also try merging the pictures online without the need of installing a program. Go to Bear File Converter: Merge JPG Files. It is a free online service that allows you to merge different image formats into one JPG file. This online tool supports the following input file formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, and BMP.

The output file format can be any of the following: JPG, PNG, GIF, or BMP. You can also preview the output file before downloading.
