Ms Word and Lotus Notes 8.5 issue

I delivered a XenApp 5 for Win2k3 with Office 2010 to my client. And my client had already a Lotus Notes 8.5 locally installed.

Can you please help me because when user tries to ‘Save and Send’ form the MS application the response was, “Word couldn't send mail because of MAPI failure: Unspecified Error”.

I will suggest for you two workarounds for finding a solution to the problem:

• The first workaround is to restart the MAPI e-mail program that you are using.

You will need to close the MAPI email program completely, go to the task manager and close any processes it is running and thereafter send your document from Word. That should fix the problem. In case that does not work yet then try the second workaround:

• You will need to save and close both the document and Word, and then you will have to restart Word

If there are any changes that you have made to the document, then you will need to save and close the document, and then you will need quit and restart Word. Doing that will make word to establish a new MAPI session, and then it will allow you to send your document.

On if these two should help fix the problem.
