Hello! I have heard that for a given WiFi connection there are multiple pass phrases of that connection. Is this true? I really haven't seen any examples of this though. How do I check if my wifi connection has multiple pass phrases or not? By the way, this question is related to WPA or WPA2 encrypted network. Thanks for the help in advance!

Yes, you can have multiple passwords for a single wifi.

This is possible if you host two SSIDs with same name on the same access point.

Most of the manufacturers have the ability to serve multiple passwords.

But at the same time you might face wireless roaming and reliable connection issues.

You could also use different passwords for each band on dual band access point.
