Hello! I have an old Xbox 360 and it does not have an internet connection with it. I have some video files and I want to play them on my Xbox 360. What format would be required to play them on my console? What software should be used to convert them to a playable format? I cannot go for an Xbox update since I do not have an internet connection with this console.

The following file formats could be used to play video files on Xbox360: WMV, AVI, H.264 and MPEG-4 when streaming with USB.

Other formats like avi, .divx, .mp4, .m4v, mp4v, .mov, .wmv are also compatible with Xbox 360.

Windows Media Player 11 is the software which allows you to watch any video format on your Xbox 360. You just have to install it from Microsoft.
