Hi there user:

These are the requirements for upgrading to Windows 7.

1.      External Hard Disk.

2.      Installation Disk.

3.      Original Installation Disk for Programs that you want to use with Windows 7.

Before you do the upgrade, make sure you back-up your (important) files. Move your files from your unit to your External Hard Disk.

Download, Install, and Run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

Download, Install, and Run Windows Easy Transfer.

Now gather your program disk and set-up files (installation disk) to install Windows 7 (use custom option).

Make sure you’re well connected to your Internet before the installation start.

Insert the Installation Disk. Go to My Computer and then open the Windows 7 on your DVD drive.  Double-click and then click Install Now. Follow the instruction to finish installing Windows 7.

Now move your files back to your unit.
