Microsoft Visual Studio Catastrophic failure

Does this error message seem similar to anyone? I have been facing this problem since the upgrade of my Operating system.

I had my OS upgraded to Windows XP , had Microsoft Visual studio 2005 installed on it. Whenever I try to add a dataset to my project and click to view the code I get this annoying error message.

Microsoft Visual Studio

Catastrophic failure (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8000FFFF

(E_UNEXPECTED))

I have tried submitting the error reports but that does not help me in anyways.

Can someone have a solution for this?
