Hi there,

Call was not completed is my new error from a long list that I have. Most of them started to appear after I did an update for my Windows XP and I don’t have any solution for this. Can anyone help me please ? What should I do ? Should I reinstall Windows XP ?

Thanks !

Call was not completed or has ended.

Lync says call was not completed

This error you are getting is caused by misconfiguration in the Lync Topology Trunks. If you will open Microsoft Lync and go to this screen described in the image below, you might see the “Listening port” and the “Mediation Server port” are set to different port numbers. The “Listening port” should be set to 5060 similar to “Mediation Server port”. See image.

After configuring the correct port number in the topology trunks of Microsoft Lync, you should republish your topology. See image.

Because of the modification you made to the topology trunks of Microsoft Lync, it will require that you restart the Lync Server Mediation Service. See image.

And that’s it. You should not see the same error again in the future while using Microsoft Lync.
