Hello People! I am a newbie to Lubuntu software, and of course I want to explore it.

But while exploring this one, I got an error and said “Lubuntu Software Center closed unexpextedly”. What is this error?

What is it? After restarting the program after a few minutes of exploring the error pops up again.

Please I want to solve and don’t want to see this error again.

Hi friend,

There are many ways to solve this problem. This error comes for many reasons. So you have to put different afford for solve this problem.

Your first option is to make sure that there is a file in this directory location "lists". If there is then find output of ls /var/lib/apt. then restart pc.

Other options are following this location from your root partition /var/lib/apt/lists and find a file named us.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_maverick_main_binary-i386_Packages and delete this file. Then restart computer.
