Linux floppy disk recovery tools

Hello All,

I need to recover and read an old floppy disk in Linux, that is having some problematic sectors. I googled for floppy disk recovery tools that work with Linux, but didn’t get any such tool. Please suggest me a Linux floppy disk recovery tools that will help me.

Hi,

You can try Test Disk. This is one of the best data recovery software and can easily recover data from a floppy disk. It works quite well in Linux environment and must recover any kind of data on a damaged floppy disk. You can also check old version of Norton disk doctor that is an equally good data recovery software that was being used in old days to recover data from a damaged floppy disk. I feel any of these two will solve your problem.
