Hi,

I feel this is hardware problem. Pressing F2 must take you to BIOS. However, it is showing red light. This means, hard disk is not properly connected to the motherboard. You needs to check the connectivity between the hard disk and the motherboard. Once this is done, press F2 before the windows icon is shown. If you are not diverted to BOIS then get your hard disk checked. It might have got corrupt.
