Hello,

SCOM 2012 discovered these errors from Data ONTAP MP and after a research on the Internet no solutions were found. Can anyone help me please to fix these errors ? What is the cause of them ?

Thank you !

Operations Manager could not log intro controller… Using the Data ONTAP credentials manager for System Center Operations Manager, check that valid credentials have been entered for this controller, and if “Required HTTPS” is selected, verify that the controller is configured to accept HTTP connections.

Operation manager error on command with ONTAP data

Hello,

In fact SCOM consumes events from Windows event viewers. It means the MP can not open this windows event.

Run SCOM sever > Applications and services > OnCommand > you see all alerts we are collecting for SCOM.

OR

Go to the ‘Authoring, Management Pack Objects, Rules’ rules and find ‘Data ONTAP’. There is a lot of rules. > Type:  Management Server > Data ONTAP: Discovery Rule > Overrides Summary > double click on it > on the "Overrides Target." You can mamagement server where OCPM installed.

If it is "Class:  Management Server" then you've targeted all management servers which would cause the error above.

You need to delete this override and create a new one targeted as the specific management where OCPM installed.
