Hi! Guys,
I was installing Kaspersky on my computer to protect me from any virus and while I was inputting the license key, I met an error generated by Kaspersky, it is not accepting the license key that I input. Please refer below the whole error message on the screen I have attached.
License type is not compatible with this application

I have a lot of Kaspersky license at file, since we bought a lot of it with 3 computer allocation per license, I don't remember which license I used with this computer previously.
Does this affect the registration of Kaspersky?
Please help me to solve this issue.
Thanks a lot.

These errors occur since you have three computer allocations with three Kaspersky license, these three license files are mixed up. Everybody does that especially if you have lots of software installed in your computer, I suggest you should write the license key on the CD, it will not mix up when you need it. Now back to your problem.
First, you open the windows main application on Kaspersky and compare the product’s name especially the type of logo in the left upper window application with the name in the box.
If you can’t open the main window, just go to start then all programs and find the Kaspersky Lab’s product and again just compare the name installed product with the name in the box. If the installed Kaspersky product differs from the one you have purchased.
Remove it, and try installing another one until you find the version you have purchased.

Hello! Mark_fassy's,
Different versions of Kaspersky software's have different license types, that's why it is incompatible, check the boxes if it is the right version for your license, it must be the correct version for the right license type.
