The Silverlight error codes occur due to many reasons.Some of them are due to an incomplete installation of a program, downloading of a corrupt file, infected program files, etc. To troubleshoot that error, a repair tool of error 2105 should be downloaded. Before downloading any file, its authorization is checked and even the features of its corresponding data. It helps to handle them. These errors are applicable to Windows XP, 7, 8, Vista.
Since that error is related to download, it could be a problem with your internet connection. Try troubleshooting your connection first. Open your web browser and visit a website then try clicking some links. Verify that your internet connection is working. If there is a problem with your connection, you need to troubleshoot.
If your computer is connected to a router using a network cable, disconnect the network cable from the network port then plug it back in. If this doesn’t work, disconnect the other end of the cable from the Wi-Fi router then connect it back. If this doesn’t work, restart the router.
If the router has a power button, press to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about twenty (20) seconds. Press any button on the router to discharge any leftover power or to power cycle. After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on. When the router is ready, try downloading Silverlight again.
If you are updating Silverlight, download the latest manually. Download and install the latest Microsoft Silverlight. The latest version at the moment is Silverlight 5. It supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. It requires 1.6 GHz or faster processor and 512 MB RAM. Note: Google Chrome is no longer supported because of browser limitations.
When installing Silverlight, make sure you are using an administrator account. It will not install on non-admin or limited user accounts.
