What is a footnote or an end note? What purpose does it help to achieve in a Word document? How can a footnote be inserted in a Word document? How can a footnote be deleted from a Word document? How do I move a footnote from one location to another in the document?

Footnote is a note of the word or sentence that you want to explain in your document. Move your mouse to references as shown in the image, select insert footnote after selecting your word or sentence. This will be shown on that page of the document in the end of the page with numbers like 1, 2, 3…respectively as you added your footnotes by clicking the next footnote.

Endnote is a note that is shown at the end of the whole document with the roman numerals like  I, II, III,….respectively as you added your Endnote by clicking next endnote.

You can remove your footnote by clicking on undo or in other case it will not work, then select your document and copy paste them into another document.

You can move your footnote to another location by typing your word or sentence of that you made footnote in that location
