Hello friends,

How to boot remote iso image? Booting an iso image using a remote computer desktop is not an easy task, I have to learn it first before making any move. Can you please instruct me what to do in terms of booting an iso image? I hope you can help me.

Instructions on booting remote ISO image with a remote desktop PC

Hi Kathryn!

 

Here are steps on booting from a remote ISO image:

1. Insert the CD or DVD, if you are using one.
2. Connect to the console.
3. On the Devices menu, select CD-ROM if you are using a physical media or CD-ROM Image if you are using an ISO file.
4. Select the Keyboard and Mouse if they are not selected.
5. Reset the server.
6. Press F8 when a message appears, offering a series of selections.
7. Select the CD/DVD or ISO image boot device from the generated list.
8. Follow the steps of the OS installation guide provided by the vendor.
