Installation of web server 64 bit windows 7

Hi,

I am using windows 7, 64-bit on my laptop. I try to install Apache and wamp web servers on win 7 64-bit but i could not do so . If someone has any idea how to install web server 64 bit windows 7 tell me as soon as possible.

Installation of web server 64 bit windows 7

I think there may be some conflict problem between Apache/Wamp and Internet information services (IIS) in windows 7. So go to Control panel —->Add/Remove Windows Components—–> uncheck Internet Information Services (IIS). It will disable IIS. Now restart your computer and then login and restart Wamp server installation. Now go to C:WINDOWSSystem32driversetc open file hosts and find local host entry and delete all lines below this line.

If Skype is installed then open Skype —> Tools Options—>  Advanced —> Connection and uncheck  "use port 80" restart Wamp server. Hope this solution will solve your problem.

Installation of web server 64 bit windows 7

hi

I will help you to install Apache and wamp server on your Windows 7 64 bit pc. It is very simple. Download WAMP from its website and keep on desktop. Double click to install. You will be asked for installation directory and it will be installed automatically. Apache, PHP and other apps will be installed automatically.
