Unknown software exception KnightOnline error occurred while running the setup for this game. I tried to search the solution from the internet but can’t find. How can I overcome this error? I really need your help to fix this issue. Any assistance would be appreciated.

You can try this various ways to fix this problem. If you’re using a Windows 7:
1. Right click the “KnightOnline.exe”.
2. Click "Troubleshoot compatibility".
3. Click “Try Recommended Settings".
This will help you to search the compatible settings for the program. If the error still occurs you can also try:
1. Re-download “KnightOnline.exe”.
2. Before running “KnightOnline.exe”, make sure you turn off your antivirus and firewall since some of anti-viruses are blocking some particular files/ programs from being install.

If you are trying to install Knight Online, check the system requirements again and make sure your computer meets those requirements. Knight Online supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. It requires 600 MHz Intel Pentium 3 or faster processor, 512 MB RAM, and video card with 3D acceleration support.

If your computer’s CPU, RAM, or GPU is relatively lower than the required hardware, gameplay may still be possible but at lower resolutions. Note: the game may not run properly on Windows 98. If you verify that your computer meets the requirements, make sure you have an administrator account when installing the game.
