A suite of multimedia technologies that many Windows games require is known as DirectX. If your game is not working properly, then your system doesn’t have the right version of DirectX installed. How to check DirectX Version is mentioned below:
- Firstly, click the startbutton and type dxdiag to check which version of DirectX is on your system (via DirectX Diagnostic Tool).
- Now, choose the systemtab in the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Then check the DirectX version number under System Information.
- If you are using the DirectX Diagnostic Tool first time, then you will be asked if you want to check your drivers are digitally signed or not. In my opinion, you should select yes.
