In Ubuntu10.10 I installed Wine software for running windows software or installing windows platform supporting software. I installed Adobe Photoshop and other software successfully and it working well, but when I installed Microsoft Office 2003 it working well but I cannot uninstall it, but other uninstall easily.
So what can I do?

To remove the Office 2003 from your Ubuntu operating system you have to go the menu of Synaptic Package manager after that go to the search bar and find the office there and then remove or delete it from there manually. Or if you insist to uninstall the office then that will happened from the interface of command line. if that did not work then try to the menu of navigation and open there a terminal of windows of DOS type then type the command there ofÂ

sudo apt-get remove open office.Â

This will help you to uninstall the office. But if you just want to replace it with a new office version then you really do not needs to uninstall the previous but you just have to install the newer one and it will automatically overwrite the oldest one. Hope this will work for you.
