I want to know how to get a solution for the error windows update error code 800f020b.

I am tired of trying to remove this everlasting problem from my computer. Does anyone has any idea on how can I solve this issue manually?

How To Solve Windows Update Error Code 800f020b Error.

Following the below steps can certainly solve your issue:

Step 1: Firstly, repair all the Registry Entries that are having a link with the Error 800F020B.

Step 2: Next, perform a Full Malware Scan of Your System.

Step 3: After that, clean Your System’s Junk with Disk Cleanup.

Step 4: Then, update Your Device Drivers.

How To Solve Windows Update Error Code 800f020b Error.

If you receive “error 800f020b” when running Windows Update, it means the update you are trying to install applies to a device that is currently not connected to your computer. If you remember which of your devices is connected to your machine when you installed the update before, connect it to your computer and install the update again. This should fix the problem.

But if you have no idea which device it applies to, it is recommended that you hide the update. To hide the update, click “Start”, “All Programs” then “Windows Update”. Click “View available updates”, locate the update you want to hide, right-click it and then select “Hide update”. After this, go back to the Windows Update page then select “Check for updates”.

This should no longer display the update in question. The error code “0x800F020b” indicates that the “device instance does not exist”. This means the update you are trying to install is not really for your system but for a particular optional device.
