I want to transfer a video from my desktop pc to my Mac air. The video is in wmv format. When I play the video on my mac, I can not open it. I know there are some compatibility issues between windows and mac, but how can I get my Mac play this video file. How do I sync wmv on Mac? I need it badly. Thanks.

You can get your Mac to play the WMV file by downloading and installing the VLC player from a trusted site online. The VLC player plays a number of file formats including the WMV file. It is not as good looking as the Quicktime player, but it can sure play a lot of file formats that even Quicktime player can’t.
