Hi. To learn how to scan a signature, first, write the signature on paper, scan it using a scanner and then save it on the PC in file formats such as .jpg, .gif, etc. Then, open the file, crop the image, from the format menu. Right-click on the image, save the picture and to add it to the file, select the Insert menu and then pictures. To add a self-made signature, first, type the text which is to be added under the picture which has been inserted.

Then, click on the picture and type the text. Click on insert and select the option of quick parts. Then, save the selection to the quick part gallery. Give a name to the signature and select the auto text feature in the gallery box and click on OK. Click on Insert, quick parts and then auto text wherever the signature needs to be entered.
