How to run activex control

Hello expert,

Why is it that every time I use Internet Explorer, a dialogue box always pops up that says Click to run an ActiveX Control on this webpage? It is very annoying for me. What should I do to enable it so that IE won't ask again later? Is it safe to run ActiveX Control? Thank you.

How to run activex control

 

Hi,

If that ActiveX control still pops up on your Internet Explorer every time you use it and you want to disable it, just follow these steps.

Just go to the Control Panel > then network and internet > click the Internet option > go to security tab > to custom level, then check the all related ActiveX control to disable.

How to run activex control

 

Hi,

I think if you perform following steps your problem will be resolved.

1. Open Internet Explorer and  from "gear" icon in IE 9 select internet options.

2. Under internet options popup selects the security tab.

3. Select Internet as the zone to change and click custom level present in down.

4. After performing this The Security Settings – Internet Zone dialogue box appears.

5. Now scroll down and search Run ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins, Script ActiveX Controls Marked Safe for Scripting and make them enable. After that click OK and restart Internet Explorer.
