I am using Windows Vista and would like to remove FireFox from my PC. I tried to uninstall it by going in the Add/Remove programs section, the pop up box appeared saying the program was being uninstalled but it did not. Please tell me how to uninstall FireFox from my PC? I dont want to remove any personal data and customizations, so pleased tell me such a way that this data remains intact. Thanks

Uninstalling Firefox without deleting browsing data and other information is very easy.
1. Go to Control Panel >> Programs and Features >> Uninstall a program.
2. From the list, find out Mozilla Firefox.
3. Select and right-click on it and then, select “Uninstall”.
4. Uninstall it normally. If any option comes forward saying whether you want to delete your browsing data or not, say “No”.
Done.
Now, install Firefox once again and you will still have the personal data on your PC.
If you want to remove Firefox completely with registries, use Wise Program Uninstaller. This is a program that has two options: “Safe Uninstallation” and “Force Uninstall”.
