Hallo Joby,

The method you can use to do that is the following. Note that it can be done before you add the account to Outlook or if you need to move existing PST files. If you choose to use the second case, you will need to move the PST files from the default location to the new location as well.

You will need to close Outlook and Locate Outlook in the registry (regedit.exe).

  • Outlook 2003: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0Outlook
  • Outlook 2007: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice12.0Outlook
  • Outlook 2010: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice14.0Outlook

After that you will create a new Expandable String Value named ForcePSTPath and as value you will enter the path where you want the PST files to be.

Regards,

Carl
