I want to send some files from my desktop computer to my laptop. I wish to do this
over my Wi-Fi network using my Wi-Fi router. How does one send/exchange files
between two Windows 10 PCs using a local Wi-Fi router?
Windows 10 makes it very easy to share files between computers on the same network.
You just need to follow a few simple steps to achieve this.
1) Go to Settings -> Network & Internet -> Sharing Options.
2) Under the Private Network Profile, click on “Turn On Network Discovery” and
enable “File and Printer Sharing”.
3) Do the same on the other computer.
4) Now go to file explorer and click on Network on the left. You will find all the
devices that are connected to the same network router here. Click on the desired
device to access the files on that computer.
