OS Running Problem After Installing OS From Its ISO Image On Virtual Box

After installing OS from its ISO image on virtual box, the OS was still not running (it hanged before completely loading). What could be the possible reason for it and how to overcome it?

OS Running Problem After Installing OS From Its ISO Image On Virtual Box

There can be two possible reasons for this kind of problem –

1. Virtualization option in the bios

 

Enabling it would make your OS run on the hypervisor.

2. Physical Address Extension (PAE) / NX processor bit (NX)

Sometimes the system on which hypervisor is running is 32-bit system and the OS which is running on the hypervisor needs more than 4 GB of ram then there is a need to enable PAE option. Also, NX allows the processor to help guard the PC against attacks by malicious software.
