Hi Marizgarcia22,

This is possible with the use of the ftpadmin command. You just need to take note that all the computers must be able to ping each other. They need to be able to do that to make sure that they are able to communicate with each other.

You will then have to run this command on either of the computers. You need to run ftpadmin.exe. It will start to display the address you are listening to. You can then FTP to this computer from the other computer. After this, you can now use any FTP program you like or use just explorer.

Since you have all the computers networked together, there are some things that you will need to observe so as you can be able to transfer files directly among the computers. They are the following:

  • You will need to make sure that you have configured all the computers to use the same workgroup.
  • Click start on your computer, and then locate My Computer and right click on it.
  • Choose system properties, and then  in the window that will open give a name to the workgroup for instance MSHOME. You will need to make sure that you use that name for all the computers.
  • You will also need to make sure that you have configured the IP addresses properly.
  • With all that checked, you will go to My Computer, and then click on network places.
  • You can access the shared folders of the other computer from there.
