You can use the computer’s task scheduler to set auto on and off. This works well with windows 7. To do this;

1. Go to the computer’s control panel click open power options;
2. Select change plan option settings;
3. Further select the change advance power setting(APS) option;
4. Expand on new APS, the sleep along side the Allow Wake Timers options and change to Enable at the plugged in then restart you computer to digest changes.

That is like the programs you may wish your computer to open when it wakes. After downloading it, open it to set. Once you open it you will see spaces to be filled and what you want.
