What exactly is this Hashout from the Yahoo which is a giant social media site. I wanted to know how is this useful to us. When will it be available to use in public.

Dear,

Yahoo will be presenting an online talk show that will be hosted with some notable guest together with Damon Lindelof (one of the creator of Lost) and Maria Shrver (Journalist). The title of the show is #HashOut and it will propose as the first talk show that will be shown in the social media and will be aired later this month.

The list of panelists is Anna Holmes (the founding editor of Jezebel), Maria Shriver (an American journalist), Anne- Marie Slaughter (a professor at Princeton University), Damon Lindelof and more.

Yahoo believes that the show is a new way to speak about the news and consider it as the first ever talk show that will be proposed on social media. 

The added #Hashout which will be launched on August 20 intend to start a debate on a daily basis regarding politics and the present news, the intriguing debates between the audiences and the political panelists, industry leaders, experts and journalists that will propose answers as well.

This is kind of a campaign strategy that will be available during the final months leading up to the U.S. Elections on November 6.

HashOut is a social media talk show that will be featured on Yahoo News. The talk show will feature a variety of panelists who will partake in a conversation influenced by social participation. It was announced on August 14th and will be launched anytime during the week (starting from 20th August 2012.)

The social program is focused on igniting debate. It is basically a new election night control room, and six new video shows devoted to conference coverage with an aim to drive dynamic conversations on the political and economic matters facing the nation.

This media are inviting potential viewers to enter their email to be alerted when the talk show goes live. Each weekday, the Yahoo! The news Twitter feed will pose a question to all of its followers -@YahooNews Then 3 chosen answers will be published the following day on the Yahoo HashOut page and the Yahoo community will vote the best.
