Hi friends,

Got a wired error, Installation is successful without any problem. And I am able to connect to the server. But the problem is when I try to upload files to root, I am getting this error message. Not sure where I am going wrong? Can I use any other FTP program to upload files? Guide to me find a solution.

An FTP error occurred – cannot open remote folder website1/. Access Denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem.

An FTP error occuered in macromedia dreamweaver

This could be a problem with the Dreamweaver version that is in use. Like 5.5 version of the software shows similar error while the CS3 version works smoothly in some system. Alternatively, I would suggest you to use Filezilla to FTP files to server. Verify with server administrator that you have access to the root folder. Sometimes read access is only given, however, you will need write & execute access.
