Flashing bios failed help needed asap!

Hello guys,

I need help about how to recover a dead bios i have one motherboard here and i have flashed the wrong bios firmware and it wont boot what will i do i need to recover this motherboard ASAP or i will need to replace it with a new one thanks for those who will give answers here is the motherboard name ecs a740gm-m and i have flashed the bios chip into ecs a750g.

Flashing bios failed help needed asap!

Hello XxGamerxx,

For non working BIOS, steps below are solutions to this issue;

Solution 1: Boot-block BIOS

Do the following;

• AUTOEXEC.BAT file on bootable diskette and this will look for this AMIBOOT.ROM file.
• You may need to rename this to the correct BIOS file name on the floppy. Once you hear a beep sound, this means that the transfer made is a success. Reboot your computer and this should be ready modify the configurations.
• Solution 2: Get a new BIOS chip
• Replace the BIOS chip.
• Solution 3: Hot-swapping
• If you have an extra working BIOS, replace the corrupt BIOS chip. See this link they have best available BIOS chip that you can have

If your motherboard bios goes down then you can purchase new one another solution for this is to download your bios in a USB drive and put it to your PC now boot it with this USB drive it will work fine.

If you need to repair your BIOS you can submit to a technician for view if you are a technician the try to re install the BIOS on chip. If you have putted the BIOS on wrong side on computer and they heat up and loose there work then you can not repair then you need new one. Try to find a new BIOS for your PC it can only solve your problem in this case. If they are not heated up and can still store program then you can store as you requirement. I hope now you have enough knowledge to solve your problem.
