Flash in browser is messing up when using Online Video Hunter

Hi folks,

I have an Online Video Hunter v2.3 and I have used it for a very long time. Lately I have noticed that, whenever I am using the software, the flash videos in my browser (I use Google chrome) suddenly hangs for a while, then just display in black and I can't download the video anymore. Sometimes it is ok and sometimes it is not. What's wrong with the software?

Thanks.

Hi there,

There are a few issues that can make the video in your browser to behave in the way as you mentioned.

  • First of all you need to make sure that you have enough bandwidth allocated for the video to stream properly. If you are using a wireless connection make sure that no one is stealing your connection.
  • If you think your browser and / or video hunter is the problem you can try by uninstalling both and then reinstalling. When you reinstall make sure that you have the latest versions for both Google Chrome and Video Hunter.

Best of luck!

Since that involves a streaming video, try first updating your browser and Flash Player. Though you won’t be watching the entire video, most video grabbers require that you play the video first to initiate a stream and since it is an online video, Flash Player is required. This must be up-to-date for the stream to initiate properly.

Try downloading the latest version of your browser from the following:

Also, make sure Flash Player is up-to-date. Download the latest version from here:

If the problem continues, try using Stream Video Downloader. I use this plug-in and it requires Google Chrome.
