Whenever I try to login to my Facebook Account using any browser on my Laptop, it shows "Facebook is down for required maintenance right now, but you should be able to get back on within a few minutes. In the meantime, read more about why you're seeing this message. Thanks for your patience as we improve the site." This happens for the first time only, If I again try to log in, it successfully logs into my account. But why it happens for first time and after trying again, it logs in?

If this problem happens very frequently each time you login to your Facebook account, try checking your computer for malware. I also have a Facebook account but it never happened to me that whenever I sign in to my account, the website is always down the first attempt and will always succeed the next attempt.

That’s very odd. Update your antivirus then run a full system scan on your computer. If it didn’t find an infection or a malware after the scan, open Windows Explorer then click Tools and then select Folder Options. In Folder Options window, select View tab then scroll down a little bit.

Select “Show hidden files and folders” and then uncheck “Hide protected operating system files”. Click Yes when prompted then click OK. Open drive C, right-click System Volume Information folder, point to your antivirus, and then select Scan. See image.

This is just to check if you have a spyware on your computer. If your hard drive seems to be clean, try installing the latest version of your web browser. If you use different extensions on your web browser, try disabling them first and then enable them one at a time then login to your Facebook account to see which extension is causing the issue.
