My OS is Win 7 64 bit.
I got an excel attachment in my Hotmail which needed some editing.
I opened it and edited without forgetting to save continuously but later when I reopened excel, the file was missing.
Did anyone have such an experience?
If so, please help me to fix this problem.
Thanks.
Excel file missing after editing in Windows 7, 64bit.
Oh yes I had encountered also that problem, I may not be able to fix that problem.
Please do save every minute, try also if there is some kind of recovery within the Ms Excel, sometimes Ms Excel ask you for a recovery if you've closed it unintentionally.
MS Excel also didn't save automatically what you've done, try to save it more often.
There is nothing to do with your OS, you have just forgot to save it.
Anyways that's all your fault, but try to save it more often next time.
Hope this will clarify.
Thanks

Hi Suresh,
Yes I have experienced that problem and I get your concern.
Try opening Excel and on the top left icon (Home Icon for Excel), click on it and you will find your saved material on the right.
Also Click on Excel Options – Save – Save after every 2 minutes minimum.
This ensures that Excel documents save themselves automatically after every 2 minutes.
This helps you to prevent future losses.
Thanks,
Steve.
