Hello TehyV buddies!

I am a bit new using Latex so as a beginner I am a bit newbie in troubleshooting. I have tried to create a pdf file to it and did not encounter any problem creating. However, as I open the file that I have created an error on adobe reader x shows up. Adobe reader X opens texniccenter and starts calculating the words I have entered. And on the process of calculating an error message comes out saying: "Command was not successful" Can anyone help me solve this problem? I would really appreciate any help in solving this. Thank you!

Hello Nicola,

You are getting that error most probably because you saved the file you created in a PDF format that is not supported by the Adobe reader. To resolve it, you will need to do the following:

  • Go back to Latex application and open the file from there. It should open because that is the application you used to create the file.
  • Recreate the file and then make sure that you save with an extension .pdf which is supported by the adobe reader. The default extension Latex is saving the file in could not be supported.

That should resolve the issue you are getting.

Regards,

Carl
