I have a licensed Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 and this is for the first time when I have this kind of error and the support is not helping me at all. Any expert is available to help me please ? Why I cannot make the updates ?

Since you are using the full version then you shouldn’t be worrying about any expired trial days. Since it is a failed update, make sure your computer is connected to the internet. Open your web browser and open any website. If you have an active internet connection, you should be able to successfully open a website.
If the connection is fine, restart your computer and try updating your antivirus again. See if it works. If you’ll be checking the Bitdefender official website, you will not be able to find any help for your problem. It is maybe because you are using an old version of the antivirus and the help available there is for the 2013 version of Bitdefender Internet Security.
But even if this is the case, there is still no help available for either the “error -1018” indicated in the error message or with the update failed error. Since you have plenty of subscription days left, just reinstall your antivirus. Uninstall it, restart your computer then install it back. Update the antivirus once it is installed. Reinstalling the product should fix the update issue.
