Error Code 101 In Android

I am using an android version 4.0 in a Samsung device. I am not able to download apps from Google Play Store, and it is notifying me about the failed operation with error code 101. What can I do to resolve this? The screen shows the below image.

Error Code 101 In Android

Error 101 occurs in the case of devices which use older Android versions. I will suggest you update the android version if your handset has come up with one.

Another option is to clear data and clear cache of the play store application from settings of the device and reboot the device again. Otherwise, as Google play store is not responding, you may be having an error with your Google account. Remove your Google account and try adding it again after rebooting the device.  Check the speed of your internet and mostly try to use 3G or Wi-Fi for downloads.
