Hi Guys,
I am current using 64 version of Windows® 7 Home Premium SP1 on brand new Dell Inspiron 14R laptop.
Â
It has 4GB 1 DIMM (4GB x1) DDR3 1600Mhz memory and 500GB7 SATA hard drive (5400RPM).
Â
I have recently installed Dauntless software but strangely it is yielding the dll errors.
Â
Â
"Error 48: Error in Loading DLL"
Â
Strange that dll errors are encountered on a brand new PC?

Error 48: Error in Loading DLL with Dauntless
DLL error are encountered if you did not installed the application properly. The problem was that a dll was not loaded correctly or not loaded. I suggest re-install the application and be sure that the applications has finished it set-up before trying it. Brand New PC are the best Pc that you can used because it is fresh and fast so if you got a problem with the dlls just refer to the program itself and not the PC.
Error 48: Error in Loading DLL with Dauntless
Hi Acke,
DLL missing error during installation can be caused by a registry problem, even if this is a new computer chances are it may have files that are not yet present on the registry. Here is what you can do:
-
Check if the program is in the list in the control panel if it is removed the program and run a Regclean from Microsoft and then click Fix Error.
-
Since you mentioned that this is a new computer, check also if this computer had already completed Windows Update. By doing Windows Update this adds specific patches and files needed for further installation of software.
