If you want to try out some free softwares, then you can try Debut Free Mac Video Recording Software which is available here: http://mac.softlandmark.com/multimedia/free/Debut_Free_Mac_Video_Recording_Software_Info.html.  If are not a fan of professional video editing softwares as they are difficult to understand for the new users, then try Mac IIci with colorSpace II and colorSpace FX boards. It is capable of tracing a live video. Hope it helps.
