In my area there are 10 wifi networks and I was primarily concerned about the frequency interface of the devices to other devices. Is it possible to change the frequency of a wifi network transmitter from 2.4Ghz to another value? How would you establish that another wireless signal is cause interference to your own network?

Operating too many WiFi on the same frequency of 2.4 GHz which is commonly used in many devices may result a significant decrease in speed and rarely, a complete block of the WiFi signal (when a phone is in a call, etc.).

Nevertheless, it is possible to boost the frequency of the WiFi network upto 5 GHz. But there are some requirements to be met for a strong connection, including the router having the necessary hardware configurations, etc.
