I will be developing a small application that will be run in most popular tablets such as Galaxy and iPad.
Does tablet support JavaScript?
At least those in-demand tablets. What are the limitations of JavaScript in tablets?
I need to research on this matter before suggesting specific applications to my boss.
Thanks.
Does tablet support JavaScript programs?
Hi,
The Apple iPad does support JavaScript. The Safari can support and run it. What you need to do is:Â
Go to the settings in the home screen.
Choose and click Safari from the settings menu.
Turn on the JavaScript by touching it to toggle.
Hope this helps you.
Regards,
Diane

Yes, iPad was supported by Java Script. Safari so in that case tablet can run JavaScript.
There's just one thing iPad can't run a Complex JavaScript App.
You'll notice an extremely sluggish performance in a complex web.
Better to avoid this kind of situation to gather positive feedbacks.
I hope this little advice helps.Â
Good Luck!

If you are developing a Java app for mobile devices like Android and iOS Smartphone and tablets, support for Java will depend on the device. Like for example, there are Android devices that support Java via the Java MIDP emulator but there are also ones that totally don’t support Java. Here are some Smartphone and tablets that support Java:
- Acer Iconia Tab A110
- Acer Iconia Tab A700
- ASUS PadFone
- Karbonn S9 Titanium
- ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T
- Gionee Elife E3
- HTC One
- HTC One X
- LG Optimus L3 E400
- Motorola XT390
- Samsung Exhilarate i577
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 2
- Samsung Galaxy S III
- Samsung I9500 Galaxy S4
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 P7510
