Hi techyv experts,

When I am opening user files with the news installation of DNS in my Windows 7 computer, an error message pops up which displays that ‘Dictation Disabled’ and the title is ‘Dragon Error’. I have tried by re-installing the DNS and make some changes in registry key, but there was no change in the result.

Please help me to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance.

The workaround for that problem can be either of the two methods below:

  • First, you can choose to run the computer in Single Processor mode using the following steps:

    1. You will need to open the Msconfig.exe utility.
    2. And then on the Boot tab, you will click Advanced Options.
    3. And then you will need to click to select the Number of Processors check box, and then select 1 in the next box.
    4. Once you have done that you will click OK, and then click OK again.
    5. And then you will restart the computer.
  • Alternatively, you can choose to uninstall the TDI-based driver using the instructions from the driver manufacturer.
