Has anybody ever had this situation where you have two IP addresses each having different service providers, different host names and different web info yet turn up with identical locations on the map?  I can’t quite figure it out. Thank you.

Different IP Addresses Having Identical Location on the Map

It is a very unpredictable situation when you find that two computers on the same network have the same IP address. It will greatly be dependent on how all the other equipment on the network will be able to handle the problem. But in general, you will find that a situation like that could be as bad and even make both machines that have the same IP address be unable to communicate at all to the network. In some other cases, it may turn out that only one machine will not be able to communicate, or perhaps there may be intermittent problems that will affect both machines.
