Hello guys!

I don't have enough knowledge on using computers so I came here to ask your help.

How can I determine the internal memory of my harddisk?

Determining my Internal Memory of my Hard disk

Hi,

To determine the internal memory of your Hard Disk (HD) you can go through the following:

1. Go to Windows Start button › Settings › Control Panel. Control Panel window will open.

2. From Control Panel window double click on Performance and Maintenance.  Under Performance and Maintenance window double click on Administrative Tools. From Administrative Tools window double clicks on Computer Management.

3. It will enable to run the computer management tool. Then follow the left side list of this window and select Storage. Below the selected Storage you will find Disk Management. Click it.

4. From the right side of the same window you will see the Disk, its memory, partition etc. It also shows your other drivers.

Determining my Internal Memory of my Hard disk

Hi there ,

 

It think you need help regarding the finding the internal memory and other relevant information of your harddisk.

 

There are many ways

 

1. You can do it by the disk management found in "manage" option while right clicking the computer.

 

2. BUT I suggest doing this way since the above method only gives you approximate value of the drives only not the entire hardisk. You have to sum up all the drives to get the info.

 

So Try this way :-

 

1. Right click on computer.

 

2. Select properties.

 

3. Then in the left box select Device manager.

 

4. In that under disk drives you can see your harddrive label or model number. (click on the + sign or > sign to see it)

 

5. Right click on your drive and select properties.

 

6. In the box that appears select the tab Volumes.

 

7. Click on the populate button.

 

8. You can now see al the information including the total memory of the harddrive.
