Creating a Template on MS Word

Good evening.

I've been assigned by my boss to create a template on MS Word.

The problem is that I don't know much about it but I just cant tell my boss about it.

Could somebody tell me what template is?

What are the steps to create a template?

Creating a Template on MS Word

You can think of a template as a model. A template is usually created to avoid difficulties in following formats or creating a new one. When there is a template, all you have to do is follow its format and focus on the content of the document. Some examples of documents that commonly have templates are certificates, letters, and resumes.
