Hello,

I have heard that Linux operation is virus protected and I wanted to be sure about that. There are many versions of linux so I want to know if the information is credible and is it okay with each of the versions. Kindly someone help me with the information so that I can make the right decision.

Yes, Linux is a virus free operating system. But it is not guaranteed that virus did not attack on Linux. As you know Linux is specially used by the programmers, because it is not an easy job to access on a Linux system PC.

Now a day there are more then five hundred virus is active, and maximum virus attacks on the PC which are run with Windows operating system.

As for your information, Linux is not a single version operating system, it has so many versions available, that’s why if any one creates a virus for Linux it only work on one version only, it has no effect on the other version of Linux. On that point of view, it can be say that the Linux is a virus free operating system.
